March 18 News: iQOO has announced that the iQOO Z9 series will make its debut in April, featuring the first batch equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Mobile Platform, the third generation.
The official statement highlights that iQOO is the go-to for the enhanced tuning of the powerful Snapdragon 8s.
It's reported that the third-generation Snapdragon 8s is built on TSMC's 4nm process. The powerhouse here is the Cortex-X4 super core, clocked at 3.0GHz, accompanied by 4 large cores running at 2.8GHz and 3 small cores at 2.0GHz. It's positioned between the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 and Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
Currently, the iQOO Z9 series has obtained network access license. According to leaked information, the new model equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon 8s will be named iQOO Z9 Turbo. This device features a 1.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a massive 6000mAh battery, supporting 80W wired fast charging.
One of the major highlights of the iQOO Z9 Turbo is its long battery life. With a 6000mAh battery, it becomes the largest battery-equipped model among the third-generation Snapdragon 8s devices, potentially setting a new industry record for battery life.
In addition to the iQOO Z9 Turbo, other new models such as Z9 and Z9x in the Z9 series will also be unveiled simultaneously.
