On March 29, the National High-Tech Zone Alliance of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (hereinafter referred to as the Alliance) held its first event of 2024, visiting Zhongguancun and hosting a closed-door meeting in Beijing.

The attendees first visited Zhongguancun Dongsheng Science and Technology Park, where park officials introduced the park's development history, digital construction practices, measures to reduce enterprise innovation costs and living costs for talent, and the establishment of a service ecosystem to facilitate high-value growth for enterprises. They also exchanged views with representatives of high-tech zone enterprises on park operation services and related topics.

At the closed-door meeting of the Alliance, the Secretariat—represented by officials from the Zhongguancun High-Tech Industry Promotion Center—released the "2024 Plan of the National High-Tech Zone Alliance of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei" and presented the "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Science and Technology Innovation Service Platform Map." Officials from the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Zhongguancun Management Committee's Office of Science and Technology Cooperation and Support conveyed information about the Alliance's brand and mechanisms for information exchange, and shared the main practices and typical experiences of various high-tech zones in promoting scientific and technological innovation, industrial development, new industrialization, and coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

Representatives of high-tech zone enterprises engaged in in-depth discussions on implementing the Alliance's plan and promoting coordinated development among high-tech zones in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

Wang Jian, a first-level inspector from the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, emphasized the significant importance of the Alliance in strengthening the coordinated development among high-tech zones. He highlighted that by building platforms, sharing resources, jointly conducting research and development, and collaborating on promotion, the Alliance can promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in Hebei, drive the deep integration of innovation chains, industrial chains, and supply chains, facilitate connectivity among upstream, midstream, and downstream enterprises, and achieve complementary advantages and win-win development between Hebei and Beijing-Tianjin.

Officials from the Torch High-Tech Zone Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology expressed their commitment to providing comprehensive support and services to high-tech zones as their "hometown," contributing to "developing high technology, achieving industrialization, and accelerating the formation of new productive forces."

Wu Jiaxi, Deputy Director of the Planning Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, urged the Alliance to focus on enhancing development quality, promoting the development of new productive forces, conducting industrial innovation, conceptual innovation, and service innovation, deepening resource sharing, intensifying innovation cooperation, industrial collaboration, and policy coordination efforts, striving to increase incrementally, and achieving comprehensive and efficient coordination among the high-tech zones in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
