On April 10th, Redmi held a new product launch event tonight, officially unveiling the first model of its all-new Turbo series - the Turbo 3, aiming to be the most powerful mid-range performer.
In terms of design, the Redmi Turbo 3 comes in three colors: Ink Crystal, Green Blade, and Ice Titanium. It retains the straight-edge design, equipped with a four-curved deep back cover, with a thickness of 7.8mm and weighing only 179g. The device features a diamond-like skeleton structure while ensuring lightness and thinness, earning SGS five-star anti-drop and shock resistance certification. The flash adopts an angel ring design, with the camera's metal Deco ring precision-milled through CNC to create a precise C-angle, matching the body color for a cohesive look with enhanced details and depth.
The integration of the rear dual cameras and the angel ring flash forms a triangular layout, offering a stable and balanced visual effect.
It is reported that the front of the phone features a 6.67-inch screen with a resolution of 2712 x 1220, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, a 2160Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness exceeding 2400 nits. The Redmi Turbo 3 features proprietary wet hand touch control algorithm to enhance touchscreen accuracy in wet and rainy conditions. The new device also eliminates the screen stand, with a top border of 1.35mm, left and right borders of 1.3mm, and a remarkably slim bottom border of 2.27mm, further enhancing the frontal aesthetic. In terms of eye protection, the Redmi Turbo 3 adopts Xiaomi's Qing Shan eye protection solution, supporting automatic brightness adjustment up to 16000 levels and 1920Hz PWM dimming.
It has obtained the "Visual Health Friendliness S++" certification issued by the China Quality Certification Center through three certifications: Rheinland Hardware Low Blue Light, Rheinland Circadian Friendly, and Rheinland Flicker-Free. In terms of core configuration, the Redmi Turbo 3 is equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon 8S flagship chipset, achieving an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 1.75 million. It comes with LPDDR5X memory and UFS4.0 flash storage. Empowered by the Fury Engine 3.0, enjoy gaming experiences with uncompromised brightness, visual fidelity, and frame rates.
To ensure stable performance output, the Redmi Turbo 3 is equipped with flagship-grade cooling technology featuring a loop heat pipe, gas-liquid separation design, and a massive 4800mm² heat dissipation area, providing a machine-wide cooling capacity of 64.4mA/℃. In terms of imaging, the Redmi Turbo 3 features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX600 main camera with an f/1.59 aperture, equipped with OIS optical image stabilization. Additionally, it includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Using AI image recognition capabilities, the camera can automatically identify and determine the subject of the scene when capturing photos and videos. On the AI front, smartphones can now realize AON (Always-On Navigation) air gesture recognition, enabling full-scene air gesture operations such as adjusting media volume by waving up and down or swiping on short video pages.
What's even more user-friendly is that the Redmi Turbo 3 supports gaze detection. The screen won't turn off as long as the user's gaze remains on it, and it also features intelligent screen rotation. When lying on its side, the phone won't rotate its content due to horizontal orientation.
Thanks to the third-generation Snapdragon 8s, the device has achieved large-scale open testing of the Xiaoai big model.
In terms of battery life, it comes with a built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 90W fast charging, reaching 50% in just 12 minutes and fully charging in 35 minutes. According to Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group, the Redmi Turbo 3 achieves three unprecedented feats:
