The total volume of national highway travel during the holiday is large, with peak traffic volumes highlighted.

The report predicts that during the May Day holiday, the daily average traffic volume of small passenger cars on national highways will be around 57.5 million vehicles.

According to the analysis, the sections of national highways prone to congestion and slow traffic during the "May Day" holiday are:

  • Changtai Expressway from Changshu East Toll Station to Dongbang Interchange
  • Hukun Expressway from Changshan West Interchange to Zhonghe Bridge
  • Ningluo Expressway from Chahe New Area Toll Station to Jiageng Interchange
  • Jinghu Expressway from Huxinzhuang Interchange to Dazhuangtun Interchange
  • Guang'ao Expressway from Minzhong Service Area to Tanwei Interchange
  • Chengyu Ring Expressway from Wangjiaping Interchange to Qingmuguan Tunnel
  • Hushan Expressway from Beiheng Yin Bridge to Changxing Island Service Area
  • Jingxin Expressway from Xishankou Toll Station to Deshengkou Tunnel
  • Yongguan Expressway from Xiangshan Toll Station to Xiangshan North Interchange
  • Jingkun Expressway from Cross West Yu Railway Bridge to Huyi Toll Station
