April 9th, Redmi Turbo 3 is set to be officially unveiled tomorrow.
As a new member of the Redmi Turbo series, this device will debut with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s processor, the third-generation chip jointly defined by Xiaomi and Qualcomm.
Reportedly, the third-generation Snapdragon 8s processor adopts a 1+4+3 CPU architecture. Despite a slightly lower clock speed compared to the second generation Snapdragon 8, leveraging an advanced large core architecture, the Redmi Turbo 3 achieves an impressive score of 1.75 million on the AnTuTu V10 benchmark, making it one of the most powerful mid-range models in history.
Wang Teng from Redmi stated that the chip is the most expensive component of the whole device. Even with last year's second-generation Snapdragon 8, the starting price is no less than 2,300 CNY. With Turbo 3 equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon 8s, an additional nearly billion CNY has been invested. Therefore, the pricing will not be lower than 2,000 CNY.
Furthermore, Wang Teng also mentioned that Turbo 3 will offer rich memory options, not only launching a 16GB+1TB version but also starting with a configuration of 12GB+256GB.
In terms of appearance, Redmi Turbo 3 emphasizes a thin and light design, with a body thickness of only 7.8mm and a weight of 179g, ensuring prolonged usage without fatigue.
The front adopts an ultra-narrow bezel straight screen design, providing an excellent visual experience, and the gold color scheme and square edge design give the body a premium feel.
