From April 27th to 29th, 2024, the High-Level Promotion Conference of the International Technology Trade Fair at Zhongguancun for the Transformation of Scientific Achievements in Universities (referred to as the High-Level Promotion Conference) will be held at Beijing University of Technology as part of the Zhongguancun Forum Annual Meeting. As an important component of the Zhongguancun Forum, the first High-Level Promotion Conference will focus on the theme of "The 'Trinity' of Educating Scientific and Technological Talents Generating New Productivity," inviting representatives from over a hundred universities, scientific and technological enterprises, and government officials from across the country to exchange ideas on new models that promote the deep integration of academia, industry, and research institutions to facilitate the transformation of scientific achievements.

Liu Hui, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Zhongguancun Management Committee, presided over the keynote report session. Jin Qin Xian, Deputy Director of Changping Laboratory and President of Beijing Tsinghua Industrial Development Research Institute, delivered a report titled "Building an Ecosystem for the Integration of Innovation Chain, Industry Chain, and Talent Chain in Technology Transfer." Academician Ge Xingfu from the National Academy of Engineering of Germany presented a report on "Commercialization of University Scientific and Technological Achievements." Ling Zong, a digital technology expert from Silicon Valley, gave a report on "Practical Models and Experiences of Commercializing University Scientific and Technological Achievements in Silicon Valley." Lin Bijun, Director of Mainland China and Hong Kong Business Development at the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute, presented a report titled "Promoting the Transformation of Scientific Research Achievements through Industry-Academia Collaboration."

At the event, publications such as "Innovative Mechanisms for Transforming Scientific Achievements in Universities," "Outstanding Cases of Transforming Scientific Achievements in Universities," and "Collection of Research Achievements from One Hundred Universities" were released. The unveiling ceremony of the Beijing Mountain and River Bay Innovation Institute was also held, aiming to deeply integrate with and serve the development of Beijing's high-tech industries and the construction of an international center for scientific innovation.
