On April 21st, the Fourth Readers Open Day hosted by the World Publishing Company was successfully held at the Fu Palace. This year's theme was "Exploring Technology, Embracing Science Communication," drawing students from various prestigious universities in Beijing, including the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, and Tsinghua University, as well as members of the public.

This reader open day event specially presents the theme exhibition "The Past and Present of World Publishing Companies", reviewing the development history of mutual influence and promotion between Lishu and the Chinese scientific and educational communities. It showcases numerous heavyweight works in fields such as mathematics, medicine, and psychology. This year's open day event invited Wang Tao, associate researcher at the Institute for the History of Natural Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and senior psychological counselor Gong Sunwei to bring two popular science lectures to reader friends: "Göttingen and Modern Mathematics" and "Psychological Counseling and the Path to Psychological Health for Contemporary People". The lectures are conducted in both offline activities and online live broadcasts.
The popular event "Book Treasure Hunt" has always been well-received by readers. During this open day event, a batch of new books and classic masterpieces were specially prepared on-site, offering special discounts as a way to give back to readers. Notably, professional literary and creative products have been embraced by young readers. At the event, notebooks from the "Introduction to Slacking" and "Principles of Slacking" series, as well as the "Baby Physics Tutorial" series, garnered attention. Additionally, tablet cases and card holders developed based on the "Treasure of the Town Society" GTM mathematics graduate textbooks were widely observed. The creative book-related peripherals attracted a large crowd, and the book stamp collection activity also drew enthusiastic participation from readers.
Furthermore, during World Book Day, concurrent activities were organized, including the "World Book Publishers' Science and Technology Quality Textbook Online and Offline Exhibition and Sales," aiming to promote science and technology educational materials.
