On April 9th, the First China Humanoid Robot Industry Conference and Embodied Intelligence Summit were held in Beijing. With over 100 companies along the humanoid robot industry chain, more than 200 humanoid robot academicians, experts, and entrepreneurs, as well as over 1200 industry professionals from around the globe, gathered to explore the theme "Competing in the Trillion-dollar Humanoid Track: Reshaping the Future Industrial Era" and showcase the new dynamics and trends in the development of the humanoid robot industry.

During the opening ceremony, Tang Chao, Deputy Director of the Zhongguancun Science City Management Committee and Deputy District Mayor of Haidian District, delivered a speech, highlighting Haidian District as the national leader in artificial intelligence innovation, boasting the strongest research and development capabilities, and the most active product iteration. Leveraging its rich academic and innovative talent resources, Haidian District is dedicated to building an outstanding ecosystem for the robot industry. In the future, Haidian District will formulate a three-year action plan for embodied intelligence to promote the cluster development and innovation upgrade of the humanoid robot and embodied intelligence industry.

At the event, the Institute of Integrity also jointly released the "Humanoid Robot Industry Research Report" with representatives from co-publishing units such as Ubtech Robotics and Lingxinquiaoshou. Liu Jinchang, a researcher at the National Natural Science Foundation of China's High-tech Center and a second-level expert at the Ministry of Science and Technology, interpreted that favorable policies and integrated innovation are creating unprecedented opportunities for the high-quality development of China's humanoid robot industry. Pioneering technologies in humanoid robots at domestic universities are iterating rapidly, while domestic technology companies are flourishing, and the industry ecosystem is brewing for a comprehensive leap.

Of note, the report selected leading enterprises in China in key areas such as humanoid critical components, complete machines, and the integration of robots with large models, providing valuable references and insights for the industry. The report predicts that the Chinese humanoid robot market will reach approximately 2.76 billion CNY in 2024 and is expected to reach 75 billion CNY by 2029, accounting for 32.7% of the world's total, ranking first in the world. It is expected to reach a scale of 300 billion CNY by 2035.

After the release of the report, Ding Han, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of the Academic Committee of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, jointly launched the "Leaderobot 2024 Annual China Humanoid Robot Industry Selection," setting up three categories and ten awards in the humanoid robot industry chain, aiming to select and motivate outstanding enterprises in the industry chain and inject new momentum into the further prosperity and development of the industry.

It is reported that the event was jointly organized by the Lidex Robot Platform (Robot Lecture Hall) and the Zhongguancun Rongzhi Special Robot Industry Alliance, under the guidance of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and the Zhongguancun Science City Management Committee.
