This includes deepening human-centered governance of food and drug safety, deepening risk governance of food and drug safety, and deepening social governance of food and drug safety.

He particularly emphasized the need to deepen the scientific application of food and drug supervision. Food and drug supervision science focuses on the activities and laws of food and drug supervision, aiming to improve the quality and efficiency of food and drug supervision work through innovation in regulatory tools, standards, and methods.

Yin Chengjie stated in his address that whether they are state-owned or private enterprises, companies as market entities should transform the theme of high-quality development into autonomous actions for enterprise development. This should be implemented in the practice of enterprise development by strengthening control from the source and ensuring the safety production of agricultural products.

This initiative was supported by Tian Fu, the then Party Secretary of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Du Runsheng, the then Director of the Central Rural Policy Research Office. The newsletter has gone through three stages over 35 years, publishing over 4,000 articles totaling approximately 17 million words, receiving praise and recognition from experts within and outside the Ministry of Agriculture.
