On April 16th, Xiaomi's first car, the Xiaomi SU7, hit the market, offering three configurations and nine color options, with prices starting at 215,900 yuan.
Among them, the Xiaomi SU7 Max Founder's Edition in Ash Gray has arrived in our review studio. Let's take a closer look.
The Xiaomi SU7 is positioned as a mid-size sedan in the C segment, with a length of 4997mm, width of 1963mm, height of 1440mm, and a wheelbase of 3 meters.
Its sleek profile resembles that of a sports car, thanks in part to its 3x wheelbase ratio, 2x wheel height ratio, and the highest 1.36x width-height ratio in its class, achieving a global production car record-low Cd of 0.195 for ultra-low aerodynamic drag.
In addition, Xiaomi's car features teardrop headlights, halo taillights, and is designed with an adjustable electric spoiler, capable of providing a maximum of 130kg of downforce for enhanced stability during aggressive driving.
Xiaomi's car is also a performance beast, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds, with a top speed of 265 km/h; compared to the Porsche Taycan Turbo, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.93 seconds, with a top speed of 260 km/h; the Xiaomi SU7 dominates the Taycan Turbo in terms of performance.
Lei Jun revealed that orders for the Xiaomi SU7 far exceeded Xiaomi's most optimistic expectations, with "Aurora Purple" becoming the most popular color, and a significant proportion of female owners.
It is understood that deliveries of the non-Founder's Edition Xiaomi SU7 and Xiaomi SU7 Max will start in late April, while deliveries of the Xiaomi SU7 Pro will start in late May.
