On March 8th, it was announced that the "Apple Jing'an" store is set to open soon as indicated on the Apple China official website. Alongside this announcement, exclusive wallpapers for iPhone and MacBook were unveiled.
Apple Jing'an, situated at 1699 Nanjing West Road in the Jing'an District of Shanghai, marks Apple's eighth directly operated store in the city. It is located specifically in the sunken plaza beneath Jing'an Temple, directly facing the south gate of Jing'an Temple.
Based on the disclosed renovation information, the anticipated area of the Jing'an Temple store in Shanghai is 3,835 square meters, with a total investment exceeding 83.4 million CNY. The retail store grade is expected to be second only to the global flagship Apple store on Fifth Avenue in New York.
It's no surprise that the Apple Store in Jing'an, Shanghai, will likely become a new hotspot and must-visit landmark.
Reportedly, there are seven Apple Stores in Shanghai, located at iapm, Nanjing East Road, Hong Kong Plaza, Global Harbor, Qibao Vanke Plaza, Shanghai International Finance Center (IFC), and Xintiandi. They cover various CBD areas such as Lujiazui, Huaihai Road, Qibao, and Wujiaochang.
