On May 18-19, the 5th China Power Battery Energy Storage Battery Material Technology Summit was held at the new campus of the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory in Dongguan. The summit also hosted the first Materials Person Award ceremony and the "Song Lake Night" New Energy Elite Exchange Meeting. This summit attracted more than 200 participants from over 80 power battery and energy storage battery related enterprises and institutions, with over 1000 people watching the live broadcast on site.

This summit invited Huang Xuejie, Deputy Director of Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory and Researcher at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to present a report on "New Materials Driving the Upgrading of Lithium-ion Battery Products," and invited Liang Rui, Vice President of Xinwanda Electronics Co., Ltd., to present a report on "Trends in Chinese Lithium Battery Technology and Product Development."
During the roundtable session, Huang Xuejie, Liang Rui, and Yu Huali, a full-time member of the Investment Committee of Deep Creation Group, discussed topics such as the direction of battery technology improvement, the path of laboratory research results serving the industry, and innovation in enterprise technology research and development models. They also shared insights with young innovators and entrepreneurs in the field of new energy materials.
At the summit, Liang Rui, Yu Huali, and Tang Yongbing from the Shenzhen Advanced Technology Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences presented the Material Person Award to the first award recipient. Dr. Qian Guoyu and Professor Wu Fan, recipients of the Material Person Award, also shared their latest research results in their respective fields.
It is reported that this summit also featured over 20 experts, including Dr. Chen Guohua, a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering and Chair Professor at the School of Energy and Environment, City University of Hong Kong, who presented reports on power battery storage batteries, as well as roundtable discussions on sodium batteries and energy storage batteries. Guests engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as power batteries, solid-state batteries, electrochemical energy storage, the sodium battery industry chain, and new types of energy storage batteries. These reports not only showcased the latest innovative achievements but also provided new ideas and directions for the industry's technological advancement and development.
The hosting of the 5th China Power Battery Energy Storage Battery Material Technology Summit not only provided a platform for participants to exchange ideas and collaborate but also promoted the development and application of new energy material technologies.
