From April 26th to 28th, the 17th China Electronic Information Annual Conference, organized by the China Electronics Society, was held in Ningbo. Zhang Feng, Chairman of the China Electronics Society, Xu Wenli, Deputy Director of the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Tang Feifan, Deputy Secretary of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, attended the opening ceremony of the conference and delivered speeches. Academician Zhang Jun, Party Secretary of Beijing Institute of Technology, as the Chairman of the conference, Academician Hao Yue, Chairman of the Academic Committee of the conference, Academician Liu Ming, Vice Chairman of the conference, and more than 50 academicians, as well as experts and scholars from across the country, participated in this conference.

This year's annual conference, themed "Information Technology: New Productivity," includes 2 main forums, 38 special forums, exhibitions of outstanding scientific and technological achievements, roadshows, and other activities. Chen Ying, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Electronics Society, presided over the opening ceremony of the conference.
Zhang Feng stated that this year's conference explores the new trends in electronic information technology development in the context of the new era, endowing electronic information technology with new intelligence. Through innovative thinking and methods, it aims to promote the progress of electronic information technology and the upgrading of the industry. Liu Ming, Vice Chairman of the conference and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, hosted the keynote speech section of the main forum. Leading experts such as Lu Jun, Chief Scientist of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Yu Dengyun, Deputy Director of the Technology Committee of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fu Mengyin, President of Nanjing University of Science and Technology and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zhang Jianfeng, Vice Chairman of the China Electronics Society and Dean of Alibaba DAMO Academy, shared their experiences and achievements in major technical topics in the field of electronic information such as quantum information, aerospace technology, deep-sea exploration, and discussed the future prospects of the development of the electronic information industry from the perspective of digital economic development.
Subsequently, a high-level dialogue session was held, where participants focused on the theme of "Information Technology: New Productivity," discussing new productivity, technological innovation, and industrial development.
On the 27th, the unveiling ceremony of the National Committee for the Construction of Electronic Information Discipline in Chinese Universities under the China Electronics Society was held during the main forum.
On the 28th, during the second main forum, Hu Jun, President of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, hosted the keynote speech section. Experts such as Yu Haibin, President of the Shenyang Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, You Xiaohu, Professor at Southeast University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guo Lei, Professor at Beihang University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Liu Sheng, Professor at Wuhan University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, shared the latest scientific and technological achievements and industrial practices in areas such as intelligent manufacturing, 6G, unmanned systems, and power electronic chips.
Following this, a high-level dialogue session was conducted, where guests focused on the theme of "Information Technology: New Industrialization," discussing new industrialization, empowering cutting-edge technology, industrial technological innovation, and engaging in dialogue and exchanges.
The China Electronic Information Annual Conference has been held for 17 sessions. This year's conference attracted over 5,000 experts and industry professionals from renowned universities, research institutions, and the electronic information industry from all over the country.
