Tesla Makes Bold Move! FSD Autopilot Monthly Subscription Fee Slashed in Half: Reduced to $99

On April 13th, Tesla made a significant move to promote its FSD (Full Self-Driving) assisted driving technology.

Today, Tesla adjusted the monthly subscription fee for FSD Full Self-Driving from the previous $199 per month to $99, a direct reduction of $100, more than halving the price.

Earlier this month, Tesla eliminated the "FSD Beta Testing" label in its latest 2024.3.10 software update, replacing it with "FSD Supervised Edition," introducing Elon Musk's touted "end-to-end neural network," which allows cars to be controlled by neural networks.

Paril Jain, Tesla's AI manager, recently disclosed: "Our driving strategies based on end-to-end NN neural networks have been deployed to about 2 million vehicles in the United States. At the same time, over 6 million vehicles worldwide are running other safety + Autopilot software stacks."

It's worth noting that Tesla's FSD driving mileage has surpassed 1 billion miles, and Musk has claimed that it won't be long before it exceeds 10 billion miles.

Tesla's commitment to FSD is undoubtedly firm. Last month, Musk mandated that employees must install and demonstrate the use of the company's FSD Full Self-Driving system to customers before completing vehicle deliveries.

In an email, he wrote, "In North America, FSD V12.3.1 must be installed and activated, and customers must take a brief test drive before completing vehicle delivery."

"Because almost no customers really know the value of FSD right now, although this will slow down the delivery speed, it is a requirement," Musk wrote. 6e00c07f-3839-4787-8da1-04e593f51373.jpg
