According to official data from Tank SUV released on April 3rd, in the just concluded month of March, total sales across all product categories reached 18,953 units, marking the 39th consecutive month of leading China's off-road SUV sales.
Of these, domestic sales amounted to 14,247 units, while overseas sales stood at 4,706 units. Overall sales surged by 86% month-on-month and grew by 59% year-on-year. Notably, new energy models accounted for an impressive 43% of the total sales figure.
In this batch of 18,900 units, sales of Tank's new energy vehicle models reached 8,243 units, accounting for over 43% of the total, showing a staggering 131% increase compared to the previous period. Among them, the Tank 700Hi4-T achieved remarkable results with sales of 2,235 units.
Currently, the Tank SUV family consists of four models: Tank 300, Tank 400Hi4-T, Tank 500/500Hi4-T, and Tank 700Hi4-T. Except for the Tank 300, the other three models all come with plug-in hybrid versions.
In March, the new Tank 400Hi4-T and the updated 500Hi4-T were launched. The former offers two trim levels priced between 285,800 and 289,800 CNY, while the latter comes in a single trim level priced at 335,000 CNY.
Compared to the previous models, the new vehicles have been equipped with brand-new Miller cycle engines and intelligent four-wheel drive systems, making them more fuel-efficient.
In late February, the Tank 700Hi4-T was officially launched, with three models available, priced between 428,000 and 700,000 CNY. As China's first luxury off-road vehicle equipped with a 3.0T V6 plug-in hybrid engine, it has naturally attracted a lot of attention, garnering over 6,000 orders within a single day.
