On March 29th, the 2024 Forum on Innovative Development in the Medical Device Industry was successfully held at the School of Business of East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST). The forum, themed "Synergy and Innovation Empowerment," delved into in-depth discussions aimed at propelling innovation and development within the medical device industry. Drawing together over 300 faculty, students, alumni, as well as experts and guests from the medical industry.
In his address, Dr. Ma Tiejv, Dean of the School of Business at ECUST, highlighted the escalating importance China places on the medical device industry. He noted a significant increase in policy support, particularly in the realm of fostering industrial innovation. The School of Business at ECUST actively responds to the national call, closely aligning with policy directives, continually deepening collaboration between academia and industry, and striving to cultivate high-quality talent tailored to the demands of the times. To this end, the school has optimized and adjusted its professional degree programs multiple times, particularly in the crucial areas of healthcare industry management and biopharmaceuticals. It has launched distinctive professional degree programs aimed at better serving the innovation and development of the national medical device industry.
