Jike is rolling out its second major release of the year, the eagerly anticipated "Jike MIX".
Listed in the latest batch of filings with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new Jike model, with the codename CM2E, has been officially unveiled. Featuring the "MIX" insignia on its rear, it comes as no surprise that it's been christened the Jike MIX, positioned as a compact MPV.
Compact refers to its size, but not its space. The Zeekr MIX measures 4688mm in length, 1995mm in width, and 1755mm in height, with an impressive wheelbase of 3008mm. That's longer than many B+ and even C class models, like the Zeekr 001, which has a wheelbase of just 3005mm, showcasing the new car's spacious interior.
This significant wheelbase is mainly due to its ultra-short front and rear overhang design. As a result, the Zeekr MIX's reported model information includes only a rear-wheel-drive, single-motor version, as there's simply no room for a front motor.
Produced by Jieke Extreme Electric in Quzhou, it shares the same model as the Zeekr 007/new Zeekr 001, with a peak power of 310kW. It uses a full-stack 800V high-voltage platform, and its battery is supplied by CATL, featuring the 100-degree Kirin battery.
In other words, the core tri-electric system of the Zeekr MIX is very much aligned with the entry-level WE100 version of the new Zeekr 001. The latter also features a 310kW single motor + CATL's 100-degree Kirin battery, starting at a price of 269,000 CNY.
However, when it comes to interior details, the Zeekr MIX adopts the design language of the 007 electric sedan, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 smart cockpit. It supports optional roof-mounted LiDAR, is equipped with the NVIDIA OrinX chip, with a total computing power of 512Tops, and comes with Zeekr's self-developed intelligent driving system.
Seeing this, everyone will probably get it. The JiKe MIX is likely to come in two versions. One is the rear-wheel-drive standard version, which includes a single motor + 100-degree battery + single OrinX chip + pure vision, supporting nationwide highway pilot.
The other is the rear-wheel-drive intelligent driving version, which features a single motor + 100-degree battery + dual OrinX chips + LiDAR, supporting both highway and urban piloting.
As for its final price, my guess is it will be around 250,000 CNY, maybe even just over 200,000 CNY. After all, given JiKe's reputation as the "King of Competitive Pricing," anything is possible.
Netizens jokingly call it the "Baby Bus"
From its reveal to its debut, the JiKe CM2E has been affectionately dubbed the "Baby Bus" by many netizens.
On one hand, its appearance is very cute and charming, sporting a panda face. The ultra-short front overhang design makes the front look friendly and approachable, coupled with the latest family-style design from JiKe 007, and the optional through-type light screen, it's both avant-garde and stylish. The car's curves are very smooth, and the white body + contrasting roof color, makes it resemble an adorable panda.
On the flip side, judging from its positioning, space, and driving capabilities, the primary scene for the Jike MIX is urban household use, making it extremely suitable for busy moms shuttling kids around.
With its 4688mm length, it breaks away from the usual bulky size of MPVs, making city navigation effortless. The whopping 3008mm wheelbase makes the interior incredibly spacious, offering ample room for both front and rear passengers, equipped with features like a fridge, television, and large sofa.
Hence, describing the Jike MIX as a "baby bus" is the most fitting description.

It was custom-developed for the globally renowned autonomous driving technology company, Waymo, with L4-level intelligent driving capabilities, completely solving the issues of drivers and providing an ultimate cabin riding atmosphere.
M-Vision, crafted on the vast M-architecture, showcases a futuristic capsule design. For the first time, it daringly eliminates the B-pillars of the car, achieving an extreme door opening of 1.4 meters. This, combined with a low-sill design, makes getting in and out super smooth and comfy.
Inside, it boasts a massive space with a completely flat floor. The front seats can spin around 360°, and with a movable center console, it can transform into a "mini conference room" anytime, anywhere.

In this declaration regarding Jikua MIX, only the 5-seater version is mentioned. However, there are plans for a 6-seater variant as well.
The 5-seater version resembles the M-Vision concept, with a passenger seat that can flip, a center console that can move back and forth similar to Jikua X, and potential features such as a small table board and a compact refrigerator.
The 6-seat version mentioned in the leak is quite intriguing. It follows a similar front and rear row design with a 3+3 layout. However, what sets it apart is the transformation of the center console into a middle seat. It's akin to the commonly seen rear middle seat, where when upright, it serves as a backrest, but when folded down, it becomes a "center console" equipped with wireless charging for phones.
In a nutshell, the MIX by JiKe not only boasts a cute and unique design but also features an intriguing interior layout. Its key selling point lies in its perfect fit for today's families with two or three children as a "second car," or as a stylish ride for female drivers.
This year, the pure electric MPV market has seen a surge in popularity. However, models like the Xiaopeng X9 and the Ideal MEGA have all struggled to make an impact. This is partly due to their high prices and partly because MPVs still cater to a niche market, especially with their bulky size making city commuting cumbersome.
However, the JiKe MIX addresses these challenges head-on. It offers top-notch smart driving and riding experiences, JiKe's signature safety features, and most importantly, an attractive price point. Therefore, the launch of the JiKe MIX, I believe, will definitely catch everyone's attention.
