On April 3, Pulsestacks reported that at the "Pathway as the Whetstone" themed 2024 Stone Technology Global Launch Event, the Stone G20S was officially unveiled: the water tank version priced at 5399 CNY, and the intelligent drainage kit at 5999 CNY. According to reports, the Stone G20S is equipped with FlexiArm Design, a flexible mechanical arm, and a small round hand mop, boasting "0 blind spots in the corner, 100% coverage in inner corners of walls." It also features the "most powerful brain in Stone's history" — RR mason 11.0, along with an RGB camera + dual-line laser obstacle detection, capable of recognizing up to 73 types of objects.
As the high-end flagship product of the Stone family, the Stone G20S adopts a more upscale design language — the all-round base station is flatter, with plenty of flat lines used, simple yet not lacking in design sense, and the color matching is also more sophisticated. The body of the Stone G20S base station is designed with a sleek, flat surface on all sides, with a "color collision" design featuring a dust collection box at the waist and a cleaning chamber at the bottom, both in pure black.
The main body of the Stone G20S continues the design language of previous Stone products, with a circular body finished in pure black, a combination of matte and glossy surfaces. The Stone logo is coated in metallic silver, giving the overall appearance a sleek and high-end aesthetic. The front of the product features an RGB camera plus dual-line laser obstacle detection, capable of recognizing up to 73 types of objects. On the side of the body, there are wall sensors, charging contacts, infrared fill lights, Reactive AI obstacle avoidance sensors, return-to-charge sensors, exhaust vents, and an adjustable vibration module. The G20S continues the dual-brush design, with the entire brush module supporting lifting. In pure dragging mode, the main brush will actively lift, reducing noise and preventing secondary pollution. In terms of mopping, the Stone G Series takes pride in its "flat" mop. Unlike conventional rotating mops, Stone's self-developed four-zone dual-shaking design boasts a high-frequency vibration of up to 4000 rotations per minute. This innovative combination of a floating mop module and high-frequency vibration ensures a snug fit to the ground, targeting deep floor crevices directly. It not only enhances cleaning efficiency but also eliminates the problem of missing spots due to mop gaps. The new Stone G20S vacuum cleaner comes equipped with a soft rubber "Little Round Hand" in addition to its features. This little round disc mop, located on the left side in the image above, achieves an extreme edge adhesion of 1.68mm during the cleaning process. With its high-speed rotation for continuous wet mopping, it ensures better coverage along the edges for a thorough clean.
Moreover, the edge brush of the Stone G20S adopts a mechanical arm design. When encountering hard-to-clean "triangular" areas, it extends outward to "stretch" and then retracts inward to remove dust and debris, ensuring 100% coverage for both edges and inner corners. Furthermore, the Stone G20S also supports various modes such as pure drag mode, pure sweep mode, sweep-drag integration, sweep before drag, etc. It also allows users to customize cleaning schemes for different carpets.
The Stone G20S station features an ultra-thin embedded design, supporting active hot water washing of cloths, self-cleaning of the station, automatic dust collection, automatic water replenishment, automatic addition of cleaning fluid, and dual drying of mop station, achieving high-temperature washing and drying, and automatic water inlet and outlet all in one station. The G20S Stone Water Tank is positioned atop the base station, comprising a clean water tank of 4 liters and a sewage tank of 3.5 liters. The dust collection area is ingeniously located at the waist of the base station. Simply remove the cover plate to replace the dust bag, which has a capacity of 2.5 liters. At the bottom of the base station lies the area for the robot's base, which integrates functions such as drying, mopping, drainage, vacuuming, and charging. It's worth noting that on the left side of the base, there's an additional device specifically designed for cleaning with the "little round hand." Additionally, the base of the Stone G20S is also detachable.
In terms of intelligence, the product is equipped with "Stone's most powerful brain ever" - RR Mason 11.0, which supports intelligent recognition of room types, floor materials, proactive planning of cleaning sequences, mopping schemes, and more. With an RGB camera and dual-line laser obstacle detection, it can identify up to 73 types of objects. The voice assistant has been upgraded with multi-turn dialogue capabilities and now includes recognition of Cantonese and Sichuan dialects. Even in offline mode, the robot can be voice-controlled to perform various operations.
