On May 1st, Xiaomi's official website announced that the flagship foldable phone, MIX Fold 3, is now available at a discounted price starting from 6999 yuan, with a limited-time offer from May 1st to May 6th.
The internal screen of Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 measures 8.03 inches, while the external screen is 6.56 inches, both featuring the new E6 OLED display material, with a global brightness of 1300nit and a peak brightness of 2600nit.
At the new product launch event, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun stated that the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 offers a closed experience comparable to the iPhone, and aims to deliver the best folding screen when unfolded.
The device also debuts the "Dragon Bone Hinge," featuring an innovative 3-level link structure, 14 movable joints, 198 hinge components, combined with the new "Super Steel" material, making the hinge more precise and occupying less space.
The new hinge makes the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 thinner and more robust, significantly improving drop resistance. Paired with the external screen's Corning Gorilla Glass Victus2, drop performance is enhanced by 50% compared to the previous generation.
In terms of core specifications, the device is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship processor, a built-in 4800mAh battery, supports 67W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and features a Leica optical full-focus quad-camera setup.
