On March 6th, Dongfeng Nissan officially launched its all-new SUV, the Terra, offering five different models with prices ranging from 239,800 to 301,800 RMB. The company also introduced a special limited-time offer, with prices ranging from 212,800 to 274,800 RMB.
The Terra adopts the brand-new design concept "NEO-DAQI," which stands for "New Atmosphere." Its front face features a large trapezoidal grille with multiple chrome bars inside, seamlessly connected to the large headlights, effectively expanding the visual width of the front end.
The vehicle is positioned as a mid-size SUV, with dimensions of 5130/1981/1767 millimeters (length/width/height) and a wheelbase of 2900 millimeters. Its side profile is very sleek and streamlined, with a straight waistline running from the front to the rear, complemented by dense spoke wheel rims that add a touch of sophistication.
In terms of interior design, the Terra adopts the current trend of dual-screen layout, with a 12.3-inch central display featuring the Nissan Connect Super Intelligence 2.0 system.
It follows a three-row layout, available in both 6-seater and 7-seater versions. The former employs a 2+2+2 seating configuration, with the second row consisting of two individual seats separated by an aisle for easy access to the third row.
In terms of power, the vehicle is equipped across the board with a 2.0-liter engine paired with a ZF 9-speed automatic transmission. The system can deliver a maximum output of 252 horsepower and peak torque of 376 Newton-meters. It offers the option of both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, along with various driving modes such as auto, economy, sport, sand, mud, and snow.
Upon its release, the new vehicle will compete with mainstream mid-to-large SUVs, including the Toyota Highlander, Volkswagen Touareg, GWM Tank M7, and the Ideal ONE.
