On March 12th, it was announced by SAIC Volkswagen that the previous 380TSI's Elite Edition, Luxury Edition, and Flagship Edition have been renamed as Dragon Soar Edition, Dragon Shine Edition, and Dragon Auspice Edition, comprising a total of six models.
Furthermore, the prices of the new cars have been reduced overall by 20,000 CNY, with the selling price ranging from 188,300 to 223,300 CNY.
It is reported that the newly released cars will not undergo any adjustments in terms of product offerings; the main focus is on enhancing the cost-effectiveness of the vehicles by offering them at lower prices.
In terms of appearance, the new car still offers two design options - the regular version and the starry version with a dot matrix grille.
As for the features, the Dragon Shine edition is a mid-level trim, offering lane departure warning, 360-degree panoramic camera, driving assistance, navigation, lane-keeping assistance, automatic parking, electrically operated sensor-controlled trunk, matrix headlights, and a 9.2-inch central control screen.
The Longxiang version, being the top-of-the-line model, will come with features such as drive mode selection, rear windshield sunshade, heated steering wheel, HUD (Head-Up Display), front seat massage function, heated rear seats, Harman Kardon audio system with 12 speakers, and temperature zone control.
It's worth noting that all models in this series come equipped with a 2.0T high-power engine, delivering a maximum horsepower of 220 and peak torque of 350 Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
