On April 23rd, we learned from the official announcement of Haval Motors that the 2024 Haval M6 has been officially launched, offering a total of four models with prices ranging from 165,800 yuan to 192,800 yuan.
Reportedly, the 2024 Haval M6, as the annual updated model, has made adjustments to some vehicle configurations and introduced brand new interior and exterior color options.
In terms of appearance, the 2024 Haval Big Dragon maintains the same exterior design as the current model, with the addition of two new colors: Storm Yellow and Ink Jiangnan Gray. The tire width has been increased from 245 millimeters to 255 millimeters or 265 millimeters, with a choice of two options, and the tire thickness has been increased by 21 millimeters.
In terms of dimensions, the 2024 Haval Big Dragon measures 4800/1950/1843 millimeters in length, width, and height respectively. Compared to the current model, the length remains unchanged, while the width has increased by 34 millimeters and the height by 21 millimeters. The wheelbase remains unchanged at 2738 millimeters.
In terms of interior design, the new car still features a fully digital instrument cluster and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. The center console adopts a floating-style multimedia touchscreen, retaining some physical buttons, and incorporates an electronic gear shifting mechanism.
It's worth noting that the vehicle offers optional accessories suitable for off-road scenarios, such as all-terrain tires (265/60 R18), a roof platform, and side steps.
In terms of performance, according to official information, the vehicle's off-road capability has also been improved. With 19-inch wheels, it boasts an approach angle of 25 degrees, a departure angle of 32 degrees, a longitudinal slope angle of 20.1 degrees, and a minimum ground clearance of 210 millimeters, with a fording depth of 580 millimeters.
Power-wise, the 2024 model of the Haval M6 is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and front and rear dual motors. The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine delivers a maximum power of 123 kilowatts and a peak torque of 243 Newton-meters.
The front and rear dual motors have maximum powers of 70 kilowatts and 150 kilowatts, with peak torques of 160 Newton-meters and 350 Newton-meters, respectively.
