On May 22nd, the "Upward" themed sweeping robot launch event was held in Suzhou. At this event, the X40 series of Roborock introduced a new product - the Roborock cutting-edge flagship X40 Pro Ultra sweeping and mopping robot.
According to the introduction, the ZhiMi sweeping robot X40 Pro Ultra has been comprehensively upgraded in terms of software and hardware, service experience, intelligent perception, and more. It features innovations such as self-lifting panoramic lidar, bionic "dual" robotic arms, a six-layer sterilization system, active base station self-cleaning 2.0, and new intelligent interactions.
In the newly released ZhiMi sweeping robot X40 Pro Ultra, an industry-first self-lifting panoramic lidar has been added to the existing lidar system.
When the robotic vacuum cleaner is in operation, its sensitive sensors work in conjunction with advanced algorithms, greatly enhancing the robot's ability to perceive its surroundings. It can quickly map the environment in 360 degrees without any blind spots, measure the size of the space, as well as the height of tables and chairs, intelligently determining whether it can enter underneath furniture. By lowering its lidar, the robotic vacuum can maneuver flexibly in low-clearance environments. Combined with its ultra-thin 8.8cm body design, this feature is optimized to clean effectively in low spaces such as under sofas, beds, and cabinets, reaching hidden debris. The product also incorporates creative lighting effects for different functional scenarios, providing a personalized experience for users.
The X40 Pro Ultra robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with a bionic sweeping and mopping "dual" mechanical arm, which consists of a side brush extension and a mop extension.
The outward expansion of the motor-driven side brush can greatly increase the cleaning area along the edges of suspended cabinets. Compared to the previous generation technology, the cleaning area along the edges of suspended cabinets has increased by 71.3%, achieving edge cleaning in wall corners less than 1mm wide. The outward expansion of the side brush, combined with deformable bristles, makes it easy to clean along the edges, covering areas such as inner right-angle corners, the lower edges of concave cabinets, and the bottoms of curved furniture that regular household cleaning appliances cannot reach. The outward expansion of the mop, combined with dynamic tail swinging, allows the robotic arm to reach further, enabling deep cleaning up to 4cm into gaps higher than 1cm under various types of furniture and appliances.
The new vacuum cleaner also features comprehensive liftability, achieving true dry-wet separation for cleaning. Tailored for various floor environments, the X40 Pro Ultra robotic vacuum cleaner has been designed with human-centric features. The new model comes with an enhanced mopping system that supports dynamic adjustments of mopping duration, water quantity, and water temperature. It can match mopping strategies based on different floor environments to achieve optimal cleaning results.
In terms of sterilization function, the X40 Pro Ultra robot vacuum by Zhumie integrates a six-fold sterilization system, combining full-chain sterilization of the water circuit and air circuit. In the water circuit, the new model features an antibacterial and deodorizing module in the wastewater tank, with built-in antibacterial and deodorizing factors, along with silver ion sterilization, sterilizing and cleaning solutions, ensuring comprehensive deodorization from surface to root.
Additionally, the new model introduces the industry-exclusive UV ultraviolet sterilization technology, effectively eliminating pathogenic fungi such as red mold, mites, viruses, and other pathogens that cause athlete's foot. The new model also utilizes an antibacterial dust box filter to filter dust from the source, resisting bacteria, and comes standard with E12 antibacterial and anti-allergy dust bags. Furthermore, the new model adopts a new noise reduction solution by adding a "soundproof chamber" and "soundproof cotton" to the dust collection system at the base station, and optimizing the design of the air ducts and fans in the main vacuuming and mopping system.
In terms of base stations, the new machine base station has added the self-cleaning 2.0 function, featuring the innovative "active dual wiping arm" that can simultaneously drive the bottom double wiping arms while dragging the mop edge, cleaning the base station bottom wash tray while washing the mop, ensuring no dirt is left inside the tray. Additionally, the new design of the diversion groove has increased the length of the water diversion groove, allowing a large amount of clean water to directly contact the mop, changing the way of washing the mop from "soaking in dirty water" to "clean water wiping."
The new base station also integrates functions such as automatic dust collection, automatic water replenishment, automatic cloth washing, automatic cloth drying, and automatic addition of cleaning solution.
In terms of pricing, the Dreame Bot Z10 Pro Ultra water tank version is priced at 6299 yuan; the ultra-thin top and bottom drain version is priced at 7299 yuan.
