Reports on March 25 reveal that the all-new Sonata will debut in six variants.
Among them, the 1.5T models will be available in three configurations: Air, Pro, and Max, while the 2.0T models will come in N Line Air, N Line Pro, and N Line Max variants. Notably, all models will come equipped with a standard 8-speed automatic transmission.
The car has already started pre-sale, with the 1.5T model starting at 150,000 CNY, while the 2.0T model has a starting pre-sale price of 170,000 CNY.
The newly released eleventh-generation Sonata has abandoned the previous "catfish face" design and instead adopted the design of overseas models, giving the entire car a more sporty and luxurious appearance.
In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4945/1860/1445mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2875mm. Compared to the current model, the length has been reduced by 10mm, and the wheelbase shortened by 15mm.
The all-new Sonata boasts a cutting-edge interior design featuring a unified screen setup comprising a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen. The steering wheel sports a fresh three-spoke design, while the shift mechanism has transitioned from button-based to a more traditional shifter style.
Additionally, the new car is equipped with a head-up display, a 12-speaker Bose Premium sound system, forward collision assist, blind-spot collision assist, and wireless Apple CarPlay.
In terms of power, the all-new Sonata will come equipped with two turbocharged four-cylinder engines: a 1.5T and a 2.0T. The former delivers a maximum power of 125 kilowatts, while the latter offers a maximum power of 184 kilowatts.
