Square Appearance Resembling an Old Defender: New Haval Dragon Official Images Released, Promising Off-Road Capabilities

On April 13th, Haval SUV unveiled the official images of the 2024 Haval Dragon. While there are few changes to its exterior and interior, the vehicle receives upgraded configurations. It is expected to debut during the Beijing Auto Show.

In terms of appearance, it largely retains the current model's design, characterized by a square-shaped body reminiscent of the Land Rover Defender. Its dimensions measure 480019161822mm (lengthwidthheight), with a wheelbase of 2738mm. The center console is equipped with a floating-style multimedia touchscreen, while retaining some physical buttons in the center console tunnel area, and employing electronic gear shifting mechanism.

Additionally, the interior color scheme in the official images showcases a combination of light and dark tones. But that's not all. This vehicle features a dual-motor layout on the front and rear axles, offering various driving modes for fuel efficiency during urban commutes. The 19.09-degree lithium iron phosphate version system has a combined power of 278 kW, a combined torque of 750 N·m, an NEDC pure electric range of 102 km, supports fast charging, and has a peak power of 33 kW.

The 27.54 kWh lithium iron phosphate version system has a combined power of 282 kW, a combined torque of 750 N·m, an NEDC pure electric range of 145 km, supports fast charging, and has a peak power of 41 kW. Both systems support V2L external discharge technology, with a power of 3.3 kW.
