Speeding at 350 kilometers per hour! Important Progress Made in Chengdu-Chongqing Intercity High-Speed Railway: First Box Girder Prefabricated

On May 1st, it was reported by the media that in the Tongliang Prefabrication Yard of China Railway Fourth Bureau in the Chongqing section of the Chengdu-Chongqing Intercity High-Speed Railway, after a tense continuous pouring process lasting 6 hours, the final part of concrete smoothly entered the mold, marking the successful completion of the first prefabricated box girder in the Chongqing section of the Chengdu-Chongqing Intercity High-Speed Railway. This also signifies a new phase in the construction of bridges along the Chengdu-Chongqing Intercity High-Speed Railway.

The Chengdu-Chongqing Intercity High-Speed Railway is an important part of China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed rail network along the Yangtze River corridor. Starting from the Chongqing hub at Chongqing North Station, it extends westward through Yubei District, Shapingba District, Bishan District, Tongliang District, Dazu District in Chongqing City, Ziyang City in Sichuan Province, and Chengdu City, finally reaching the Chengdu hub at Chengdu Station, with a designed speed of up to 350 kilometers per hour.

The first box girder poured this time is 32.6 meters long, 12.6 meters wide, 3 meters high, and weighs approximately 700 tons. s_55bb12192eac43a8a365362af1a1c33a.jpg The project fully utilizes technologies such as BIM, cloud computing, big data, IoT, mobile communication, and artificial intelligence to establish an intelligent control platform. With a focus on the smart management platform for prefabricated components, it enables virtual production simulation and automatic release of production plans.

By integrating smart tools like self-propelled beam polishers and modular rebar tying equipment, the project achieves automatic processing of rebar orders, remote control of key process equipment, and unmanned construction.

Compared to traditional prefabricated box girder factories, it standardizes process operations, automates mechanical equipment, visualizes production processes, and enhances management decision-making, leading to improved quality.

Through mechanization and automation, the project reduces the workforce from 83 to 40 compared to traditional prefabricated box girder factories, significantly boosting operational efficiency.

Upon completion of the Chengdu-Chongqing Intercity Railway project, it will enhance the road network structure in the Chengdu-Chongqing region, reduce travel time between the two cities, support the development of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, shape a new pattern for western development, and hold significant importance. s_ac51fbad27aa4496a0c10d0a72f943b6.jpg
