Resume optimization, career guidance, contract consultation, campus-corporate negotiations... On March 26th, within the student dormitory area of Southwest Jiaotong University, a distinctive "from campus to employment" spring job fair was in full swing. From submitting resumes to interviews and on-the-spot signing, Southwest Jiaotong University provides "one-stop" services to facilitate high-quality and comprehensive employment for graduates.

It is understood that this job fair is the largest spring job fair held by Southwest Jiaotong University in recent years and one of the largest spring recruitment job fairs among universities in Sichuan Province this year. A total of 474 units participated, covering multiple industries such as construction, manufacturing, IT, military industry, and talent recruitment by local governments.

"In this section, you should use data to visually demonstrate your work effectiveness, rather than simply describing it." In the resume optimization area, Teacher Yi Mingyao from the Enrollment and Employment Office of Southwest Jiaotong University patiently points out the problems in the resumes of job-seeking students. Many students are gathered around, listening attentively.

In addition to resume optimization, career guidance, and contract consultation booths are also very popular. "We have brought employment services to the scene, providing on-site services such as 1-on-1 career planning, resume modification, and contract consultation to help students better demonstrate their strengths and characteristics, and facilitate students in signing contracts more conveniently and efficiently," Yi Mingyao explained.

The scene of the job fair is bustling, with students holding resumes carefully browsing the recruitment needs of companies. "I already have a backup offer on hand, but the job is in Shanghai. Personally, I prefer to stay in Chengdu. There are many companies at this job fair, so I'm here to see if there are more suitable jobs available," said Xu, a computer major student. He emphasized that, compared to entry-level salaries, he values industry prospects and personal development opportunities more.

Gao, a student majoring in environmental design, is very satisfied with the event: "This job fair provides us with many practical services, which makes me feel very caring. There are also many professionally matched jobs available from companies at the scene. I have already submitted several resumes to the companies I'm interested in, hoping to find a satisfactory job smoothly." 66077ce6e4b03b5da6d0c077.png On-site job fair. Chen Yanfeng, Director of the Enrollment and Employment Office of Southwest Jiaotong University, said: "To address issues such as delayed employment, slow employment, time constraints in job hunting, and lower-grade students' lack of understanding of employers, we have brought the job fair into the dormitory area. This shortens the distance between students and employers. At the same time, leaders of various colleges, party and government officials, and counselors also came to the scene to understand the recruitment situation of employers, recommend graduates, and have in-depth exchanges with employers, and carry out on-site visits to enterprises. The university is also actively negotiating with other sister institutions to launch the 'employment express' activity, share resources, and help students more effectively in their job search and employment through these measures."
