On April 11th, Sony China officially released a teaser, announcing that the 2024 Sony TV and Home Theater new product launch event will be held on April 18th at 8:00 p.m.
The theme of this event is "CINEMA IS COMING HOME," indicating a showcase of products centered around home entertainment.
It is reported that the event will focus on introducing a series of home theater and audio products with Sony's new TVs at the core.
In terms of TV product line, Sony is expected to continue its 9-series Mini LED TV releases, with potential breakthroughs in local dimming technology and brightness control.
Looking back at last year, Sony's most significant technological advancement in TVs was the introduction of the upgraded XR cognitive chip, which significantly improved TV performance and introduced new features such as XR Clear Image and Game Enhancer.
Regarding the home theater section, according to previous leaks, the new generation of product models could be "HT-A9 MK2" or BRAVIA Theater Quad, which would be an upgraded version of the HT-A9.
New audio products are likely to appear in the form of soundbars.
