On April 19th, Sony officially unveiled its 2024 lineup of televisions along with new additions to its home theater speaker system.
Sony introduced three series of televisions this time around: Bravia 7, Bravia 8, and Bravia 9. Among them, Bravia 7 and Bravia 9 feature Mini LED technology, while Bravia 8 boasts OLED display technology.
-
The Bravia 7 comes in four sizes: 55/65/75/85, priced at 10,999 yuan, 12,999 yuan, 15,999 yuan, and 18,999 yuan respectively.
-
Featuring the new XR chip, the Bravia 7 boasts higher brightness and contrast, delivering a more lifelike, immersive picture. With more zones compared to the X90L, it offers more precise backlight control.
-
Additionally, the Bravia 7 enhances the multi-channel screen sound field while incorporating AI Voice Enhancement 3.0 technology for clearer vocals.
-
Both the gaming enhancer and energy-saving control panel have been upgraded to version 2.0 for enhanced functionality.
-
The Bravia 8 comes in three sizes: 55/65/77, with prices yet to be announced.
-
Utilizing OLED panels, the Bravia 8 achieves a million-level pixel control and maintains vibrant colors even when viewed from the side due to OLED's wide viewing angle. Its slim and elegant wall-mounted design enhances aesthetics.
-
The Bravia 9 is available in three sizes: 65/75/85, priced at 18,999 yuan, 22,999 yuan, and 32,999 yuan respectively.
-
Sony's Bravia 9 features the all-new XR Dynamic Backlight Master Edition, supporting 22-bit MiniLED grayscale control, more backlight zones, and higher peak brightness.
-
Sony claims that the 22-bit MiniLED units not only increase brightness but also deliver "OLED-level black," resulting in superior contrast.
