Pulsestacks noted that some users have found that this issue may be related to the iPhone's "Attention Awareness" feature. This feature is designed to lower notification volume when the user is looking at the phone. Users speculate that the "Attention Awareness" feature mistakenly detects the user's attention, lowering the alarm volume even when the iPhone user is asleep. However, Apple has not confirmed if this is the exact cause of the issue.

To disable the "Attention Awareness" feature, you can open the "Settings" app, then go to "Face ID & Passcode" and turn off the "Attention Awareness" feature.
