On April 3rd, iQOO's product manager Xing Cheng showcased the "vivo new device" on Weibo, namely the iQOO Z9 Turbo, which is among the first smartphones to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen3 mobile platform.
It's understood that the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 stands as one of Qualcomm's top-tier flagship platforms, inheriting the brand-new CPU architecture of the Snapdragon 8 Gen3. This includes a super core clocked at 3.0GHz, four performance cores reaching up to 2.8GHz, and three efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz.
In addition, the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 inherits the AI capabilities of the Snapdragon 8 Gen3, providing optimal AI performance through heterogeneous computing with the Hexagon NPU, Kryo CPU, and Adreno GPU.
Apart from its powerful performance, the iQOO Z9 Turbo is also equipped with a massive 6000mAh battery, making it the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 model with the largest battery capacity in the industry, thus boasting the strongest battery life in its class.
As for pricing, according to Digital Chat Station, the positioning of the iQOO Z9 Turbo is similar to that of the Redmi Turbo3 and the realme GT Neo6, all of which are products that emphasize ultimate value for money.
The new product is expected to be officially released later this month.
