April 3rd Update: iQOO's product manager, Xing Cheng, showcased the "vivo new device" on Weibo, revealing the iQOO Z9 Turbo, the first smartphone to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen3 mobile platform.
According to reports, the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 stands as one of Qualcomm's dual flagship platforms, inheriting the brand-new CPU architecture from the Snapdragon 8 Gen3. It comprises a powerhouse core clocked at 3.0GHz, four performance cores with frequencies reaching up to 2.8GHz, and three efficiency cores operating at 2.0GHz.
Additionally, the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 inherits the AI capabilities of the Snapdragon 8 Gen3, providing optimal AI performance through heterogeneous computing with the Hexagon NPU, Kryo CPU, and Adreno GPU.
In addition to its powerful performance, the iQOO Z9 Turbo is equipped with a 6000mAh ultra-large battery, making it the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 model with the largest battery capacity in the industry, thus boasting the strongest battery life in its class.
Regarding the price, Digital Chat Station revealed that the positioning of the iQOO Z9 Turbo is similar to that of the Redmi Turbo3 and the realme GT Neo6, all of which are products focused on extreme cost-effectiveness.
The new product is expected to be officially released later this month.
