The first round of competition featured seven singers: American singer Chanté Moore, Na Ying, Second Hand Rose, Rainie Yang, Wang Sulong, Hailai Amu, and Moroccan-North African female singer Faouzia.

Some netizens expressed surprise that only Na Ying upheld the dignity of the Chinese music scene, with the performances of the two foreign singers being a complete mismatch.

Heartbroken fans began to rally behind the show's team, and the comment sections of the singers were also flooded with reactions.

It is understood that "Singer 2024" is produced by Hunan Satellite TV and created by Hongxiao Studio as a music competition program. The show is hosted by He Jiong, with Hu Haiquan as the music commentator. The initial lineup of singers includes Na Ying, Rainie Yang, Wang Sulong, Hailai Amu, Second Hand Rose, Faouzia, and Chanté Moore, with Huang Xuan as the challenger, spanning a total of 12 episodes.

The program invites singers from China and other countries to compete in singing, showcasing music from different nations with the accompaniment of their respective music partners.

Starting from May 10, 2024, the show airs live every Friday at 8:00 PM on Hunan Satellite TV and Mango TV. s_f05bf05080f44897b55f905ee6555ad9.jpg
