On March 23rd, it was confirmed by Zhao Changjiang, the General Manager of Sales at BYD Tengshi, that the new Tengshi N7 will officially hit the market on April 1st.

Compared to its predecessor, the major change in the new N7 lies in its redesigned front face. The previously distinctive but controversial "beard-like headlights" have been replaced, sporting a brand-new style of daytime running lights, giving it a much fresher appearance. 00e124d9-49c6-4c46-a459-f8deac3cec02.jpg Old model N7 c4771529-503f-4b80-9a96-80883eb4fdd2.png The new N7 model benefits from a completely new all-electric platform and CTB battery-body integration technology. With a width-to-height ratio of 1.2:1 and a wheelbase ratio of 0.618:1, the car integrates the currently popular coupe-style design on its side profile. It comes equipped with concealed door handles and low drag coefficient wheels, which can effectively reduce energy consumption to a certain extent. 75b50b60-01aa-4078-bdb7-6ac79b515c85.png The rear design remains largely unchanged, with well-defined overall contours. The integrated taillights, resembling arrow feathers, provide excellent recognition when illuminated. It's worth mentioning that the all-new Tang N7 introduces the exclusive West Lake Blue body color. Depending on the viewing angle, it displays various hues, creating a unique visual effect. It comes equipped with a full LCD instrument panel, a large central touchscreen, and a passenger entertainment screen. However, the new model has undergone some subtraction, removing the air vents and the genuine wood smart touch panel on both sides.

The configuration has been comprehensively upgraded. The main driver's seat now supports 14-way power adjustment, heating, ventilation, and massage functions. Additionally, there's a new electric four-way adjustment for the steering wheel, and added features include a streaming media rearview mirror and automatic anti-glare function for both the interior and exterior mirrors. s_a9001531df2840919f4b41d1329dd6db.png The interior of the new Tangshi N7 (pictured: Yiche) comes with a panoramic sunroof and electric sunshade as standard across all trims. The sunroof, made of a single piece of glass, covers an area of 1.93 square meters. The electric sunshade can be easily opened or closed with one touch and comes with anti-pinch functionality.

Meanwhile, building upon the original Yunxian-A system, the air suspension has been upgraded from a single-chamber to a dual-chamber design. This enhancement allows for stiffness and height adjustments within a range of 120mm to 200mm, delivering a blend of comfort, sportiness, and improved off-road capability.

In terms of powertrain, the new vehicle adopts CTB (Cell-to-Body) battery integration technology. This innovation combines the battery cover with the vehicle floor, transitioning from the previous battery sandwich structure to a vehicle-wide sandwich structure. This advancement significantly enhances overall vehicle safety performance. s_efb20a121ea74ae1bb7c0222ca8ab836.png
