March 30th Update: Starting today until December 31st, Shanghai initiates subsidies for green and smart home appliances, with a total budget of 150 million CNY.
Consumers purchasing first-tier energy-efficient home appliances will receive a one-time discount subsidy equivalent to 10% of the transaction price, capped at a maximum of 1000 CNY! Moreover, this subsidy can be enjoyed once through WeChat Pay, UnionPay QuickPass, and Alipay, with a maximum saving of 3000 CNY.
It's worth noting that subsidized home appliances cover 16 categories, including refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, air conditioners, water heaters, range hoods, gas stoves, dishwashers, desktop computers, printers, air purifiers, induction cookers, rice cookers, electric fans, and water purifiers.
This subsidy will be implemented on a "first-come, first-served" basis until the subsidy funds are fully utilized.
