As of March 30th, according to "Shanghai Releases" news, from today until December 31, 2024, Shanghai will implement a subsidy policy to promote the consumption of green smart home appliances. Individual consumers purchasing eligible subsidized products from participating businesses' stores will enjoy a one-time rebate of 10% of the transaction price after deducting all discounts, with the subsidy not exceeding 1000 CNY. Payments can be made through Alipay, WeChat Pay, or UnionPay.

It is reported that the total amount of subsidy funds for this round is 150 million CNY. If it is used up ahead of schedule, a policy termination announcement will be issued. pulsestacks has compiled a list of eligible subsidized products:

  • Air conditioners
  • Refrigerators (including freezers)
  • Washing machines (including dryers)
  • Televisions
  • Water heaters (including wall-mounted boilers)
  • Range hoods
  • Gas stoves (including built-in stoves)
  • Dishwashers
  • Personal computers (including desktop and laptop computers)
  • Printers
  • Air purifiers
  • Microwave ovens (including all-in-one machines)
