The flight made an emergency landing in Bangkok at 15:45 local time on May 21, 2024. We have confirmed multiple injuries and one fatality. The aircraft involved is a Boeing 777-300ER.
On board were 211 passengers and 18 crew members. As of 19:50 local time in Singapore on May 21, 2024, 18 injured individuals have been hospitalized for treatment, with an additional 12 receiving medical care in the hospital.
The remaining passengers and crew members are undergoing checks and treatment at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
Singapore Airlines has stated that they will provide all necessary assistance to get through this difficult time.
