The Emergency Response Committee of the Seoul National University Medical School Professors' Association announced on March 18 that the professors of Seoul National University Medical School reached an agreement during a general meeting held that day to collectively submit their resignations on the 25th.
It is reported that a total of 380 professors from Seoul National University Medical School participated in the meeting, with 283 agreeing to submit their resignations collectively.
The professors of Seoul National University Medical School and Seoul National University Hospital decided to begin submitting their resignations to the Emergency Response Committee starting from the 19th. The Emergency Response Committee will then submit them collectively on the 25th after gathering all the resignation letters. The Emergency Response Committee of the Seoul National University Medical School Professors' Association mentioned that even after submitting their resignation letters, the professors will continue to do their utmost to provide medical care to emergency and critically ill patients until the acceptance of the resignation letters is finalized.
