[CNMO Tech News] Recently, Polestar, a subsidiary of Geely, has released a teaser video for the Polestar Phone and announced that the new phone's innovative experience will be unveiled on April 16. According to the two videos already released, the Polestar Phone features a design with right-angled edges, and its dark gold charging cable matches the color of Polestar cars' seat belts. The back panel design is almost identical to that of the Meizu 21 Pro, with three camera lenses and a circular flash, making it highly recognizable.
It's been reported that the Polesstar Phone entered the stage of public disclosure by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in March. This move came due to its striking resemblance to the Meizu 21 PRO, both of which are manufactured by Meizu Technology Co., Ltd. of Zhuhai. However, there are some distinctions in the brand logos: Polesstar Phone replaced the "MEIZU" logo with "Polesstar Phone." While this variance might not hold much significance for the phones themselves, it could catch the attention of consumers.
The Meizu 21 Pro is powered by the third-generation Snapdragon 8 chipset, boasting a built-in 5050mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging technology. Its display measures 6.79 inches with ultra-clear resolution and supports a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Additionally, it debuts the mTouch Max wide-range ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking technology, which not only expands the unlocking area but also accelerates the unlocking speed. Moreover, it can still unlock normally even when hands are wet, making it one of the top flagship smartphones currently available.
