Securities Regulatory Core Node Officially Joins National Blockchain Network

Recently, it was announced by the National Blockchain Technology Innovation Center that the securities regulatory core node has officially joined the national blockchain network, becoming a key infrastructure in the digital economy sector.

Upon integration into the national blockchain network, the securities regulatory core node can access data from various fields such as market supervision and taxation, and will initially be applied in regional equity markets. It will provide precise guidance and counseling to listed companies, push accurate information to clearing institutions through the regulatory chain, and support the trial transfer of multi-level capital markets. Additionally, it can support the application of privacy computing and other advanced technologies in local stock exchange business chains, conduct behavioral analysis of enterprises based on market entity information and tax invoice data, accurately identify illegal activities such as financial fraud by listed companies, and proactively detect risks in regional equity markets, ensuring their healthy and orderly operation.

The National Blockchain Technology Innovation Center stated that it is actively promoting the construction of the national blockchain network by deploying a series of nodes in various fields, regions, and cities, to ensure secure, trustworthy, and efficient circulation of data, thus strengthening the foundation of the national digital economy infrastructure. The securities regulatory core node of the national blockchain network will play a more significant role in capital market supervision as the national blockchain network develops, effectively maintaining the normal trading order of the market and promoting the high-quality development of China's capital market.

It is understood that in May 2023, the National Blockchain Technology Innovation Center officially commenced operations in Beijing, with a clear goal to establish blockchain industry innovation centers in key sectors of the national economy and blockchain regional innovation centers in areas with rapid development and active operation of the digital economy in China. By deploying a series of core nodes and building a national blockchain network radiating across the country. As of now, the National Blockchain Technology Innovation Centers in the energy, marine economy, and Chongqing regional innovation centers have been successively launched and are operational.
