On April 8, Seagate unveiled its BarraCuda 530 series SSDs, supporting the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface and the NVMe 2.0 protocol, with backward compatibility for PCIe 3.0 x4 interfaces.

Notably, the BarraCuda 530 series sets itself apart from some of Seagate's other offerings by incorporating the PS5027-E27T controller chip from Phison Electronics. This controller chip represents the latest generation from Phison, distinguished for its low power consumption and high performance. Manufactured using the 12nm process, it ensures an excellent energy efficiency ratio. s_188c4501f9bd4944ad28becbdada8b16.jpg The BarraCuda 530 SSD series boasts an M.2 2280 form factor, featuring a low-power storage design sans DRAM and a single-sided chip configuration, ensuring enhanced compatibility and stability during installation.
