Pulsestacks reports on April 22 that Sapphire Technology has recently launched the NITRO+ B650I WIFI Extreme Platinum motherboard. It is available on e-commerce platforms for 1689 yuan, with a 10 yuan coupon available, bringing the final price down to 1679 yuan.
According to pulsestacks, Sapphire previously released an NITRO+ B550I motherboard in 2021, and this new product can be seen as its successor.
The Sapphire NITRO+ B650I WIFI features an 8-layer PCB+8-phase digital power design, using Power Stage 70A Dr.MOS, and supports DDR5-6000+ memory overclocking.
In terms of storage, it comes with 2 Gen4x4 M.2 slots and 4 SATA 3 ports. The motherboard has heatsinks covering the power MOS and the front M.2 slot.
The NITRO+ B650I WIFI motherboard has two sets of RGB headers, 12V and 5V respectively, controllable via the Sapphire TRIXX-M software. It also comes pre-installed with a WiFi 6 wireless card.
For IO, the motherboard provides a 20G Type-C port, two 10G Type-A ports, and two 5G Type-A ports on the rear panel, along with an HDMI port, a DP port, and an RJ45 Ethernet port.
On the front IO side, it offers a set of front 5G Type-A connectors.
Sapphire's official WeChat platform announced that there will be some action in the non-graphics card product line this year. In addition to the motherboard products released this time, they also mentioned cases and power supplies.
