According to reports from local media on April 21, Samsung is set to take a significant leap with its next-generation mobile processor, the Exynos 2500, surpassing Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen4.

Sources familiar with the matter reveal that the Exynos 2500 is expected to excel in both energy efficiency and raw performance compared to its competitor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen4.

Samsung's Exynos 2400 released earlier this year has already managed to keep pace with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen3.

The Exynos 2500 will utilize a cutting-edge 3nm process, while the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 is anticipated to continue using 4nm process technology, giving Samsung's new chip a certain edge.

It is understood that the Exynos 2500 will come in two flagship chip variants. One is the Exynos 2500-A designed for smartphones, featuring an octa-core CPU.

The other variant, Exynos 2500-B, is tailored for tablet devices and Galaxy Book laptops, boasting a more powerful 10-core CPU.

Additionally, there are rumors suggesting that Samsung may abandon its in-house NPU in favor of Google's Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) in its new chips, although this information has yet to be officially confirmed. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdingyue.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0421%2Fc5efc752j00sc9z9m000ed000go00aug.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg
