After a week of intense troubleshooting and fixes, Samsung appears to have resumed the rollout of the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S22 series in South Korea. Reports suggest that Samsung has deployed a new version of the update package. If this update is successfully validated, Samsung is expected to quickly expand the update coverage and gradually promote this revised version of One UI 6.1 to other global markets.
Galaxy S22 series users are expected to enjoy the Galaxy AI features that first debuted on the Galaxy S24 series in January this year. These features aim to enhance smartphone performance and user experience using artificial intelligence technology, including intelligent recognition and optimized battery management, among others. Samsung plans to apply Galaxy AI technology to over 100 million devices by the end of this year. The latest reports indicate that the next update version of Samsung's One UI (6.1.1) will introduce a significant innovative feature called "Video AI."
