Although specific details about this new device are currently scarce, the well-known Samsung leak site, GalaxyClub, has revealed that Samsung is developing a smartphone with the code name "R12."
Based on Samsung's past naming convention for FE models (S20 FE codenamed R8, S21 FE codenamed R9, S23 FE codenamed R11), it's reasonable to speculate that R12 will be the S24 FE.
Specific specifications and features of the Samsung S24 FE are currently unknown. In contrast, leaked information about the S23 FE around the same time last year was quite abundant. This situation might indicate a possible delay in the release of the S24 FE. Considering Samsung's release of the S23 FE in October last year and the current progress of the S24 FE's development, the launch of this new device is likely to be postponed until November or later.

In the US market, the S23 FE is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 mobile platform, while in other regions, it features the Samsung Exynos 2200 processor.
