SAIC Volkswagen sold 265,000 vehicles in the first quarter! The ID. family surpasses 10,000 units again

On April 9th, SAIC Volkswagen announced its sales figures for the first quarter of 2024.

The data shows that from January to March this year, SAIC Volkswagen's cumulative sales reached 265,000 vehicles, an increase of 11.4% compared to the same period last year.

Among them, sales in March reached 90,000 vehicles, up 11.1% year-on-year.

Meanwhile, SAIC Volkswagen's pure electric ID. family once again surpassed 10,000 units in sales.

Looking into details, sales of new energy products in the first quarter reached 28,000 vehicles, a staggering increase of 171.3% year-on-year.

As for conventional fuel vehicles, the Passat achieved sales of over 53,000 units in the first quarter, up 74.6% year-on-year; the Tiguan family accumulated sales of 37,000 units in the first quarter, up 51.6% year-on-year; and the Lavida family achieved cumulative sales of 68,000 units in the first quarter.

With the SAIC Volkswagen ID. family about to celebrate its third anniversary since its launch, the new model ID.7 S is also on the way.
