Safe Arrival in Beijing! Shenzhou-17 Astronauts to Enter Quarantine Recovery Period

On May 1st, it was reported that on April 30th, the return capsule of the Shenzhou-17 manned spacecraft successfully landed, and the Shenzhou-17 astronauts Tang Hongbo, Tang Hongbo, and Jiang Xinlin all safely exited the capsule, in good health.

According to "Our Space" official Weibo account, the Shenzhou-17 astronauts arrived safely in Beijing on May 1st via a mission aircraft. s_f1dbb27603be4ef8bc07d9dafed45f61.png After arriving in Beijing, the three astronauts will enter a quarantine recovery period, undergo comprehensive medical examinations and health assessments, and be arranged for rest.

With this, the maiden voyage of astronauts Tang Hongbo and Jiang Xinlin has been successfully completed.

From their first stay at China's own space station to returning to "Tiangong" two years and one month later, astronaut Tang Hongbo's two missions accumulated approximately 279 days in space, setting a new record for the longest time Chinese astronauts have spent in orbit.

During the Shenzhou-17 mission in orbit, the crew conducted a total of 84 space applications experiments, generating over 60 types of more than 200 samples in various fields such as space life sciences and biotechnology, aerospace medicine, and space materials science.
