News from March 13th – Rolls-Royce has recently released the official photos of its Ghost "Spectacular Prism" series.
Limited edition of 120 cars will be produced and sold to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the Rolls-Royce brand in 2024.
According to Rolls-Royce officials, the "Kaleidoscope Prism" series draws inspiration from the captivating world of contemporary art and design. It reflects the preferences of clients engaged in the fashion and design industries, who increasingly favor combinations of deep tones, neutral hues, and striking color palettes.
Reportedly, the new car's exterior will feature a combination of Burnout Grey and glossy black, while the interior offers four options: Phoenix Red, Turquoise, Mandarin, and Forge Yellow.
Notably, diverging from the usual mirror-polished stainless steel finishes found on Rolls-Royce's grilles and trunk lids, the Rolls-Royce Ghost "Spectacular Prism" edition utilizes a high-gloss Burnout Grey finish.
The company states that to ensure optimal primer adhesion, each metal trim piece is lightly sanded before applying a durable primer coat.
Afterwards, the craftsmen carefully applied four coats of ash-gray automotive paint on top of the primer. Once the paint had cured, they meticulously polished each of these adornments to ensure a seamless gloss match with the vehicle body.
In the interior design, the iconic Bespoke high-end custom starlight headliner of Rolls-Royce features 1040 colored "stars," each meticulously positioned and perforated by skilled craftsmen.
Under the hood, the new model is expected to inherit the 6.75-liter V12 twin-turbo engine from the current Ghost, delivering a maximum power of 571 horsepower and a peak torque of 850 Nm. As for the transmission, it features an 8-speed automatic gearbox provided by ZF, alongside an all-wheel-drive system.
