On March 13th, images surfaced online revealing the first uncamouflaged glimpse of NIO's second brand's inaugural vehicle.

From the images, it's evident that the car features a distinct new "N" emblem and is named "ONVO LeDao," with the model designated as L60. This move signifies NIO's strategic foray into the competitive market segment, poised to rival the likes of Tesla's Model Y. 1bfdd1f0-a3fe-45d2-8a8d-342874fd451a.png From the looks of it, the new car sports a completely fresh design language. The front end now features two laser radars, one on each side.

The front fascia adopts a combination headlight design, with LED daytime running lights aligned parallel to the main headlights. The front grille maintains a closed-off design, with air vents on either side adding a touch of sportiness to the vehicle.

On the side profile, the new car adopts a sleek, sloping design, with clean body lines. The door handles continue with a concealed design, and the side mirrors are expected to feature a frameless style. d7ae6fa6-ded3-4f9b-be15-4bb4e7646952.png In the rear section of the car, the roofline slopes down to form a subtle ducktail, while the taillights boast a minimalist design. The license plate is mounted on the rear tailgate, with a black trim accentuating the lower portion. 8839fd9e-b2d2-4aeb-8166-dcfc13376dd9.png It's worth noting that NIO Chairman William Li revealed that the first model of NIO's second brand will also support battery swapping. Its cost will be 10% cheaper than the Model Y. The car is set to be released and delivered later this year.
