On April 10th, Redmi unveiled its performance flagship, the Turbo 3, featuring a large aperture Ultra Sense camera—Sony's light-sensing LYT-600, delivering a more comprehensive flagship experience.
According to reports, the Redmi Turbo 3 comes with a 50-megapixel LYT-600 main camera, equipped with the largest f/1.59 aperture in the same price range, resulting in a 65% increase in light intake compared to the previous generation.
The device also supports 4-in-1 fusion with 1.6μm large pixels, along with OIS optical image stabilization, providing ample hardware support for low-light shooting. It boasts 2X In-sensor Zoom for optical-quality zooming, ensuring clearer images with 2x zoom.
In terms of photography, driven by the computational and ISP processing capabilities of the third-generation Snapdragon 8s Mobile Platform, as well as the deep empowerment of the Xiaomi Imaging Brain, the Redmi Turbo 3 achieves lightning-fast burst shooting at 30 frames per second.
It's worth noting that the new device features a full-scene RAW domain lossless algorithm engine, which shifts the processing of information that would traditionally be handled in the YUV domain to the RAW domain. This allows for noise reduction and other processing based on a greater amount of image raw data, reducing image quality loss during ISP processing and significantly improving picture purity, color rendition, dynamic range, and other fine details.
Additionally, the Redmi Turbo 3 supports full-link HDR and full-link P3, with deep integration of software and hardware throughout the entire chain, including shooting, post-production synthesis, and display. It supports recording of up to 4K 30 FPS HDR10+ videos, resulting in richer and more vibrant color effects. Moreover, the Redmi Turbo 3 supports up to 4K 60 FPS OIS+EIS dual stabilization, reducing the technical barriers for users to create high-quality videos.
